About Canela*

Canela is the Spanish word for cinnamon. I love the way a hot cup of cinnamon tea gives that warm and fuzzy feeling and that is why I thought it was an appropriate name for my photography. I love when a picture captured in the right moment invokes that same feeling as cinnamon tea.

About Patricia Martinez*

Photography became more than a hobby for me when I had my children. I'm not sure if it's my love of children or the creative inspiration they awakened in me that gave new meaning to photography. As a mother, I am always documenting my children. All parents know childhood passes too quickly. They are so beautiful and different at every stage in childhood that I took on the responsibility to collect the moments. I offer my ability to document and capture those moments of your child with the same care and passion that I dedicate to mine.

Session may take anywhere from 45 min-3 hours. Once you make your reservation, I will mail out a packet of information that will hopefully answer any questions you may have. Due to the immense time requirements that custom portraiture requires, only a number of clients are taken, and the calendar fills quickly. Thank you for visiting Canela Photography.
